Gluten Free Fried Apples

3-4 gala apples – sliced

Mix together:
1 cup gf flour
2 tbls sugar
1/4 cinnamon
1/4 baking powder
1/4 salt
Mix and add to the dry ingredients:
1 large egg
1 cup buttermilk (I used coconut milk with vinegar for a buttermilk substitute)
Heat Fryer to 350 degrees
Mix together:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Dip the apples in the batter and fry a few at a time until golden brown.
Let drain on a paper towel and then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
