dairy free macaroni and cheese


Cook 3 cups of  your favorite dry gluten free noodles

Cheese Sauce

4 T butter, or butter substitute
4 T gluten free flour 
3 cups milk, or milk substitute
1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese


Make the cheese sauce by melting the butter or butter substitute. When butter is melted stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth and thickened.

Add the milk or milk substitute gradually, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.

Add the cheese and stir until melted.

Mix in the noodles and serve.
